This
website is dedicated to sharing pictures, news, movies, and
smiles with people all over the country. People such as you,
our family and friends (and friends of our family and friends,
and their friends too...).
Recently,
the website has been primarily dedicated to our new son, Isaac
(as if you hadn't noticed). But I'm sure we'll eventually get
some other stuff in here too. I have visions of a grand
family tree.
I wrote
the website myself because I couldn't find any tools for generating
web pages that I really liked, and I wasn't going to inflict a service
like Ofoto on everyone. It also seemed like a good learning
opportunity. The website is written in PHP, uses a MySQL database,
and is hosted by a company (hosting means that they leave their
computers on all the time for you to talk to, so I don't have to).
The web application has matured enough that I'd be willing to let
(and even help) other people use the software. If you are interested,
just send me an email. Can't find my email address? I don't post
it online anymore, in a failed effort to cut down on spam. But if
you are friends and family, you already know it anyway.
